Ken Scott (George Kenneth Scott), nasce in America nel 1919, fin da giovane è appassionato di pittura. Scoperto da Peggy Guggenheim nel 1944, si trasferisce in Francia dove disegna tessuti apprezzati anche da Christian Dior. Dal 1955 è a Milano, dove fonda con Vittorio Fiorazzo l’azienda Falconetto, produttrice di tessuti per l’arredamento. Nel 1962, usando il suo nome, crea linee di moda caratterizzate dall’incredibile esplosione di fiori e colori stampati sui tessuti; le più eleganti donne dell’epoca ne capiscono l’eleganza, una per tutte Audrey Hepburn. Questo genio eccentrico muore nel 1991 e la sua eredità è portata avanti dalla omonima Fondazione.
Ken Scott (George Kenneth Scott), was born in America in 1919, from a young age he is passionate about painting. Discovered by Peggy Guggenheim in 1944, he moved to France where he designed fabrics also appreciated by Christian Dior. From 1955 he was in Milan, where he founded the company Falconetto, a manufacturer of furnishing fabrics, with Vittorio Fiorazzo. In 1962, using his name, he created fashion lines characterized by the incredible explosion of flowers and colors printed on fabrics; the most elegant women of the time understand its elegance, one for all Audrey Hepburn. This eccentric genius dies in 1991 and his legacy is carried on by the homonymous Foundation.
